NBA � Seattle at Toronto OVER 199
The Seattle Super Sonics take their show on the road for the 3rd time in a 6 game road trip as they travel north of the border to take on Toronto. The Sonics have not lost since opening day winning 8 in a row giving them an 8-1 SU record. Seattle has also made their backers some cash going an impressive 7-2 ATS in those same games. Over their last five games the Sonics are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS. On offense the Sonics have been able to put up a good amount of points averaging 100.8 points per game on 46.0% shooting from the floor. Seattle has shot the lights out from beyond the arc however as they are hitting an amazing 41.3% of their shots. Their defense has been somewhat respectable when they have been on the road giving up an average of 91.2 points per game but have allowed their opponents to shoot a rather high 49.5% from the floor. The Sonics have also been able to control the boards as they are out rebounding their opponents by a 51-44 margin per game. The Raptors come in fresh off a six game road trip that saw they lose 5 of the 6 SU and their last 4 in a row. The Raptors are struggling at only 4-5 SU but have managed to make their backers some cash versus the number as they are 6-3 ATS overall including 3-0 SU and ATS when at home. The over has also been a money maker going 6-3 ATS in Toronto games. On offense the Raptors have actually done rather well as they are averaging 97.4 on 43.8% shooting from the floor and have done even better at home averaging 99.0 points per game on 45.6% shooting. Charlotte has been about average when they heave it up from three point land hitting 33.5% of their shots. Their problems however have been on defense where they are giving up 98.1 points per game on 46.4% shooting but have done well defending the three holding their opponents to 34.4% shooting from beyond the arc. However, the Raptors have had trouble controlling the boards as they have been out rebounded by a 54-49 margin. The clinchers: The over is 6-0 ATS when Seattle is coming off a game where there were 160 or less combined points over the last three seasons. The over is 13-4 ATS when Seattle is on the road coming off a win of 10 points or more over the last three seasons. The over is 10-3 ATS when Toronto is at home coming off of two or more consecutive road losses over the last three seasons. This is the 3rd game in 4 days for both of these teams which should have both teams defensive efforts a bit lax. Look for a lot of points to be scored in this one. I�m taking the over.
